Online Application
The MSA program at the Kelley School of Business has a new 2 part online application process consisting of:
- Kelley MSA Pre-application
- University Application
We hope this makes the application process easier for you.
Please print these instructions before you begin and keep them nearby as you work through the application process.
The Application Process

Print the Kelley MSA Online Pre-application before selecting Submit and Proceed to University Application at the bottom of the application.
Once you complete the Kelley MSA Online Pre-application and click the submit button, you will be taken automatically to the University Online Application. Instructions will be found on the first page. The University Online Application asks for some information that the MSA program does not require, those being a personal statement or essay and three letters of recommendation. We require two letters of recommendation and you should list your references on the Kelley Online Pre-application on our MSA website. You do not need to write the personal statement or essay; please leave it blank. The University Online Application may be completed in several sessions if necessary. You cannot submit the University Online Application without paying the application fee. The fee may be paid using Visa, Master Card or American Express.
If form submission is successful, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from the Kelley School of Business, and you will be taken to the IUPUI campus application web site where you must complete the University Online Application.
Printing the University Online Application is a lengthy process. Depending on your connection speed, it could take several minutes for the application to load up to be printed. Please be patient. Empty fields will not be printed. Only fields that contain data will print.
In completing the University Online Application, you are not required to complete all sections. However, the following sections of the University Online Application must be completed:
- Personal Information
- Educational History
- Test Scores
- Educational Objectives (please note: Kelley School of Business is listed alphabetically under Kelley rather than business)
- Work Experience
- Affirmation Statement
International Students will be directed to continue the application process by completing several sections for International Students only. International Students are classified as students receiving their bachelor degree from outside the US or on a Visa. You will need a credit card to submit the University application or you can fill out the paper application through international Affairs Office but please do not fill out both the paper application and the University application as you will be charged twice for the application fee. You can contact International Affairs Office at 317-274-7000 if you have questions regarding your status here at IUPUI.
Students who are applying to the program and are out of the country requiring an F-1 Visa must begin the program in the fall or spring sessions.
